Loved our elegant and modern rooms.
Location: the hotel was so close to glacier, volcano, many waterfalls and amazing beach and volcanic mountains and the North Atlantic and high class restaurants in Reykjavik. We got a room with a tub. The vibe here was cozy.

Exceptionally comfortable bed in the double room, plus central heating, a multi-channel TV and a seating area. Remote location along with great breakfasts.
Not that friendly staff!

Perfect retreat for couples
You know, that candlelit dinner we had by the window overlooking the marshes? It was perfect, like something out of a movie, while the winds raged outside. Plus, the cocktail selection? Flawless! We were with just a couple other guests, and it felt so exclusive, like we were in on a little secret.
It wasn't cheap, but honestly, with that view and atmosphere, who cares?

Booked an economy double room with great view. Central heating, a multi-channel television and a seating area available where an advantage. The staff helped us with luggage. The location was stunning and marvellous, the staff was kind.

The rooms are tasteful, the bar is cozy. The location is gorgeous and marvellous, it's close enough to the Snaefellsness peninsula and Budir. Again, it's 2 miles from Bjarnarfoss.

Gorgeous views all around and awesome spots for whale watching in Ólafsvík. The hotel felt luxurious and the restaurant was a must-try for dinner. Just hanging out in the cozy sitting area with a cocktail while watching the sunset was perfect. Definitely will be back!
The walk to and from the main building through the roof was tricky, especially during a windy night. It could be a bit daunting but manageable.

Great for families looking for unique experiences
The views from the lobby were amazing,, I mean really amazing. And,, after a long day of exploring, I enjoyed a nice whiskey while soaking it all in like I was in a scene from a movie.
It wasn't cheap,, but sometimes the experience is worth it.
